Same as if it were on the factory CI manifold or another spread bore manifold. The notches and troughs between the port and the throttle bores allow for vacuum to pass from a sideways perspective. On an open spacer or open manifold, the ports are just exposed from the bottom instead.

I use the Summit Orange "resto" wires with the 135* ends. Seems to work quite well, and keeps the boots away from the manifolds. I think Packard makes them.

I would leave the front as is. The rears will settle after some poundage and probably sit about an inch lower when settled. My Duster went through the same resting process with the same ESPO springs.

Yes, just like that! What size guages did you use? The stock holes are pretty small, and most gauges seem to be about 2 1/16" or larger. This would be for a '71 Duster. Same cluster, I believe.

Has anyone tried to mount a set of aftermarket gauges behind the face of a non-Rallye dash cluster? I would like to have mine either refreshed of upgraded, and was wondering if anyone had tried this before.

What EGR code? Was it for a circuit malfunction? P0406 or P0404? Sometimes you can give the EGR unit/sensor a light whack or two and straighten them out temporarily. Does the engine run rough when the revs are at 2500 and lower, or does it just cut out completely?

Not sure the p/n, but they are the older Performance XL models. Still straight through, but they have rolled bead lock seams instead of the welded seams like the rest of the Magnaflows. I mean, the engine is relatively mild, iron manifolds with 2 1/4" pipes.

You guys say the Ultra Flo's are fairly drone free? I have a pair of Magnaflows on my car and I swear it drones more than when I had a pair of Flowmaster 40s on the car.

Not to mention that they weigh about 4300lbs. Low 11s/high 10s. I've also seen a few outrun the new Z06 Vettes. Meh. Not impressed.
