    Rear Disk or Drums

I chose to make the change to rear disc for a few different reasons. The first reason was that I was going to have to spend $$ to rebuild my brakes anyway. The second reason is that they do improve the controlled braking when you need to stop in an emergency without as much tendency to...

    Rear Disc Brakes

The picture seems to show the rotors drilled for 2 different bolt patterns but it could be 4&1/2 and 4&3/4.

    New Challenger brakes

We.ve got a 2010 SRT8 Challenger that's got huge Brembo brakes on it. Currently the car is running 20" wheels. My son would like to put smaller diameter wheels on it such as they ran on the Drag Pack Challengers with 15" wheels. Does anybody have any info on brake interchange with other...

    Right Stuff Detailing

We put it on our '68 Charger but that project won't see the road for another year. The Charger had the factory front 4 piston caliper setup on it but we'd heard that they were prone to having pistons hang up on them so we converted all 4 wheels.

    brake line question

That braided line is pretty expensive. I usually buy replacement brake and fuel lines through RIGHT STUFF DETAILING. They have options for stainless steel instead of plain steel. Besides the functional and cost benefits, I think that a hard line would look better. If you're worried about the...

RIGHT STUFF DETAILING rear disc installation

I thought I'd add a picture of the 8&3/4" rear end from my '68 Charger. It's also a disc setup from Right Stuff Detailing, but because we'll be running a 4-speed we chose to order the park brakes. We're running a new set of 15" Keystone Klassics and have only about 1/4" clearance to the...

RIGHT STUFF DETAILING rear disc installation

Because I had decided to keep the car's body color somewhat tame (metallic grey) I thought I'd give the car a bit more pop with a splash of orange here and there. a.e. engine, spark plug wires, rear Barracuda emblem, calipers, & air cleaner sock. Most are barely within view.

RIGHT STUFF DETAILING rear disc installation

The park brake assembly was optional. For our '68 Charger that is running a 4-speed, we did order the kit with e-brake. My Barracuda will be running a torqueflite so I decided I could live without it .

RIGHT STUFF DETAILING rear disc installation

As high as I think that the quality and looks of disc brakes from companies like Wilwood, Baer, Aerospace and others are, I tend to be a cheapskate. After researching various company options for a rear disc kit I chose to go with Right Stuff Detailing. Cost was not the only factor. I had...

    Wilwood Master Cylinder

When it came time to choose a master cylinder for my '67 (stock front and Right Stuff Detailing rear - manual), I called up Right Stuff Detailing for their advice. I was told that in order to have the correct pedal feel I needed a 15/16" bore. I'm very pleased with the results. I guess if I...
