741s have a pinion bearing spacer as opposed to a crush sleeve. Make sure you don't loose track of any pinion shims that might fall out if you take it apart.

I used Permatex High Temp Sealant wiped it on the insides of the pinion splines of the yoke before I slipped it on. I think that was part of the instructions in the Factory Service Manual.

Modern Driveline is only source for ToddRon cross member. All of Silver Sport cross members are the lower part only none of their cross member have an over the top brace.

I contacted ToddRon Restorations who contacted Modern Driveline and apparently three are in their shop and will be off to powder coating next week. One will be sold to me. If you want one I recommend you call MDL cause they have two more on hand that will be ready to ship in a few weeks.

Unfortunately probably not the last time we will be seeing price increases across the board for all parts.

I believe Silver Sport can provide a TKX or T56 with the shifter coming out the factory console with the console located in the factory location. They modify the trans tail housing/shifter so that the shift handle comes through the floor at the correct location.
