Sad testiment as to what's happening all over. Watched the Daytona NASCAR event last night on TV...empty backstretch seats, and lots of empty seats even on the front stretch. These "Big" races used to sell out easily.

Are you talking about the "Nationals" they had a couple of years ago at Pacific Raceways? Apparently it was a flop and they decided not to hold it again. I guess turnout was lousy, and probably weather considerations. Haven't heard if they'll try it again somtime.

Well, thats Seattle...not Portland. Dont care about Thursday...thats just a travel day. According to "The Weather Network", there's only a 10% chance of precip. in Portland Friday and Saturday, which are the days I'm gonna be there.
