This appears to be the part numbers for the shift cable, not the park cable.

So I got the cable out. Good thing I looked in the manual, because it tells you to attach a wire to the end of it, so you can pull the new one through the floor to the shifter. It attaches to a bracket, but it's different from the one shown in @65 Dartman 's photo. My bracket has a 90 degree...

I'm looking for an Early A-body 90 degree oil filter adapter - like the on the left in the photo. Part number should be 2463661. I can trade you you one with part number 2780998, which doesn't fit in my '65 Barracuda.

Looks like you found one. I had that same issue before I ended up swapping the slant for a small block. I was told you can swap the head for an earlier head and keep the hydraulic lifters and rocker arms etc. That way use an earlier valve cover, which is MUCH easier to find. If I remember...

So the "wrong" one is about 22" long including the grip and I need one that is about 2-1/2" shorter, so around 19-1/2" overall. I have the tube - I just need the dipstick. This is the (wrong) one I have, so the correct one should be around 15-3/4" to the wide part of the rubber plug.

Thanks for the advice, pishta. But like I said, I want to keep it as simple and cheap as possible. I don't want to mess with a new shifter/ drive shaft etc. I'm also in no hurry at all - I'm just gonna wait until I find what I'm looking for. The slant 6 is running really well.
