    Radio install

Good looking cockpit!! The designers got it right. Something about the factory steering wheel that really finishes it off. @RedFish nailed it. Usually you can lead with the stems and guide them right through the holes. Then use nuts on the stems and a small bracket on back to secure it...

    Loose rear seat

My 66 Barracuda is the same. It fits in the clips but is loose in the front. But the Barracuda has a bracket on each side that fits behind the vertical seat and bolts in. That helps to secure it. My bottom seat is out now while I was adjusting the quarter glass so when I reinstall it I'll have...

    Disappointed with ACC carpet

I bought a full set of ACC carpet on sale through Rick at Laysons. He posted it on FABO and I grabbed it. I was very happy with it...but that was 7 years ago!! Quality could have gone down. Hopefully the dealer will replace it for you.

1966 Barracuda carpet - real world feedback

I laid the carpet outside in the sun a few hours to "soften" it up. When triming the sides by the sills I only cut a little at a time. Didn't want to cut too much. To do holes for the seatbelts and dimmer switch I first cut with a blade, then singed with a solder iron. The cargo wheel wells...

1966 Barracuda carpet - real world feedback

I did my complete 66 Barracuda carpet with Auto Custom Carpet (ACC) I bought from Laysons on sale. I have an auto console and bought everything. Front floor, auto console, rear carpet, entire cargo area, and trunk including back of fold down partition. Very happy with the fit. Had to trim...

66 Barracuda loose visor mount suggestions

Thanks guys! I pulled the visor off today and can see how a washer with a slot would tighten it up. I'll give it try today.

Buying My First Muscle Car 1973 Duster 340 Interior Pic

This is a great idea! Frame and body work sucks!! I'm sure you want a car you can DRIVE! Buy the nicest car you can afford...and drive it. Then do little projects one at a time. I like to drive mine, so I try not to keep it off the road for more than a week at a time. I make sure I finish...

    Carpet

A good tip on carpet is to take it out of the box a couple days before installing, and let it lay in the sun a couple hours before installing.

    Carpet

I bought mine from Laysons during a sale, and it was from ACC. The fit was perfect. Just had to trim along the sills, and a little at the firewall.

Best place to buy interior carpet???

I bought mine from Rick at Laysons. I think he posted here that they had it laying around and wanted to move it. Can't remember the exact price but I bought the entire carpet (front and cargo) for the fastback auto and remember thinking it wasn't inexpensive, lol. IT has the mass backing.

Best place to buy interior carpet???

My ACC carpet went in great. Did it in the summer and left it sit in the sun for a few hours first. Like @1969383S, I had at least 4 " all around to trim.
