Lots of work!!! Looks great. If you have an Edelbrock carburetor try moving the pump lever to the hole closest to the carburetor. That may help with the stumble.

Merry Christmas!!! Like you said, you're getting good at removing and replacing the intake!!! That's a good thing. A quart low should not hurt anything. I think you'll be fine after replacing the lifter and intake gasket. Use plenty of Right Stuff or your flavor of sealant. Put it back...

No problem with that oil pressure. When at operating temperature mine runs 20ish at idle and just under 60 at 55 mph. They all take a second or two to work up to full reading.

Lol...money goes quick on our ole girls. When I say to my wife, "next I need to buy...." at first she would ask "how much is that?", but now she just says "yeah, I know, $200." You got a great deal on that for $120 shipped.

    1974 DART FUEL GAUGE SENSOR

Yup, all of them are ****. If you still have the original one, send it out for a rebuild. I track my mileage on the trip meter and fill up when needed. My fuel gauge works just like @Dana67Dart gauge works, LOL.

    66 Dart 270 Radiator Cap & hoses

You can flush it in the car. Thete is a petcock on the bottom of the radiator to drain it, and a drain on the lower side of the block to drain the block. There's a lot of different ways to flush. Here's a video Advance Auto Parts put out using a flush kit that comes withinstructions. You'll...

    66 Dart 270 Radiator Cap & hoses

Yep, green coolant 50/50. That's good for your winters and summers. Great suggestion on getting a quote from your local shop. Griffin Radiator makes exact fit units. Expensive but worth it. I've heard a lot horror stories about aftermarket radiators not fitting well or needing lots of...

    66 Dart 270 Radiator Cap & hoses

The corrosion is not uncommon for a car that old. If you can find an old school radiator shop, they could "rod" it out or just hot tank it if they think rodding it could damage it. If the engine is not running hot, I would leave it.

    66 Dart 270 Radiator Cap & hoses

Good deal. I always feel like the engine thanks us for new filters! I don't recall ever seeing a slanted radiator neck. As long as it doesn't leak you're good. The hose is for overflow. Keep in mind, these cars were meant to have radiator fluid (coolant, water, etc) about an inch or inch...

The advice on double checking for an exhaust leak is good. Definitely make sure before tearing into your engine.

    Dartin for Divorce

Georgia also allows it. We have to keep a "regular" plate in the car with a sticker on it. But it doesn't have to be visible. I have mine in a folder under the seat with the Chrysler Historical documents that I put out at car shows.

Yup! Lol. I was very hesitant to go way down to a 9.5, roughly 3600 rpm. Woke that engine right up!! Glad I took your recommendation. One day we'll get together and you can give it a try!!

I spent a wad of cash when I built my Magnum engine about 4 years ago ($5k - $6K). I work hard and thought, screw it I want to build an engine!!! It was my first time building an engine from the short block up (had a machine shop hot tank the block, polish the crank, hone the bores and install...

Sounds great! Sounds a lot like my 5.9 with Dynamax Super Turbos. I don't get a drone though. Give them some time, they may grow on you. Sounds like some small things to work out but nothing you can't handle. My 5.9.

Dude, that's awesome!! Quite an accomplishment. I'm sure you'll get the timing and carburetor tweaked. That engine will get the little Barracuda down the road. :D BTW, for a moment I thought you didn't have the key in the run position!!
