Take a little more paint off, get the thing shiny metal; sand the back of ecu too looks old, you need fresh metal. Also, check ground from motor to chassis.

With your Mallory style type distributer, it’s easy with the two adjustment screws, you don’t need the kit to do the recurve. I just use a protractor and a zip tie. You will get a true Measurement. Redneck Re-curve
