You might be able to put 15x8s on the front…

In 15 x 8 or 8.5 you might find something...I don't run across to lot of 7 inch auto drags

Like this... these are 225 60 15s on 15 x 7 with 4.25 backspace. I would say you are better off with 4.5 backspace... and you will likely still have to tweak things to keep them from rubbing. This car has 1.14 torsion bars and shocks with a good bit of compression dampening and I can still get...

69 on 225 60 15s and cop wheels ...perfect pot hole bashing street wheel and tire set up...

On the front you would likely run into trouble with fender clearance with a 4 inch backspace 15 x 7

I would just find another 15 x 7 cop wheel and run them, 7 inch is wide enough for a 225 tire.

That sounds about right ...a 275 50 should be around 26 inches tall. Car does look good!

I have run 325 Hoosiers on my tubbed 72 Scamp, they are listed as 13.1 inches wide. With a 1/2 inch clearance to the springs l could still fit my fingers between the outside of the tire and the fender. So I would say a 335 should work if the stars line up... but not ever car is the same

I ran Hoosier 325 15 15's on my tubbed 72 Scamp with a 3.75 back space wheel, fits no problem. My car has the original outer tubs with a manufactured inner tub.
