By the way Mad Dart your engine sounds great, do you have a video of it with the turbos spoolin?

I don't want to get in a pissing match but unless you have a really good tune, want to use high octane fuel, water methanol, have a super intercooler, yea...... detonation with boost kills cast pistons, & they can't really stand up to the high temperatures that comes with boosting like forged...

8:1 or so, not hipo 273 dome 10.5:1 pistons stock 340 heads you need to notch the bore a 1/4in or so for valave clearence too.

anything more than 5 psi and you'll need/want low compression forge pistons.

Gotta find me a 340 Demon some day............. :-D

Heres a little inspiration :thumblef: This is my bosses '71 Dart. It has a twin turbo 400 based stroker engine. He never got a horse power reading but it did break a dyno rated at 1,800hp :finga:

The engine was seised, thats one reason why I'm not using. But I still have it.

I'm just curious as to what is better and why? Is it that turbos are cheaper? It seems that supercharging is way simpler to set up.

Is that for an aircraft carrior? Lol!!
