I do believe that if you put some weight on the front end the tires will not hit. You see all these other members who are running 205's on the front of theirs and no mention of them hitting the frame.

If my car is up on the jack the front tires do hit the bottom of the sway bar (after market) not the frame, but when sitting on the ground they do not hit anything.

I am running 205/70R/14s all the way around with stock factory 5.5 SBP rallyes on my 66 and have no clearance problems.

That's the way I have always done it but I always put a little oil on the wheel stud so when pulling it through it does not get buggered up from the lug nut. Just make sure the hole in the washer is big enough for the stud to pull all the way through. Hell I used to do that when I worked at...

I went with some 14" rallies 5.5" wide and put a set of BF Goodrich P225/70R14 on them all the way around. They fit with no rubbing barely. Bob

I'm am running B.F. Goodrich Radial T/A's 225/70R14 all the way around on my 66 Barracuda no problems, no rubbing.

I got mine about a month ago from Belle Tire P225/70R14 I ordered them and had them in 2 days. Bob
