I would think in the perfect world the crank would be designed, and the firing order would be designed for maximum scavenge and minimum restriction for the exhaust. Maybe thats where the cross bank headers comes in, but I could see problems working around accessories in and engine compartment...

Might almost be worth buying a new a body tank so you don't have to worry about that whole explosion thing and narrowing it.

I've seen it done with a C body gas tank.

If you're really careful you can extend the holes that go over the end studs so you can slip the Remflex gaskets straight down without moving the headers too much.

Picked up on Patriots from Jegs. They fit my 360 in my 69 barracuda with a 904. I raised the torsion bars to gain a little ground clearance, $399.

Just came across your thread. I installed Patriot ceramic headers on my 69 cuda with 360 swap. Fit beautifully, haven't fired her yet. What parts are you thinking and what are you installing it on?

Gonna be a while before install, motor still at the builder. I don't have room to clear between the inboard springs and gas tank, just gonna run turndown before the axel but still cheaper than accurate headpipes. The mufflers are flomaster knockoffs and everything looks great. rumblefish ran...

Thanks for posting the pics! I can see the difference in the quality of the bends. If your gonna put on an exhaust why not gain three tenths? BTW your ride looks as great as it runs.

I'm right at picking the exhaust from the manifolds back also. Putting a 360 in my 69 cuda. Any chance you could post some pics of fitment for the head pipes? Particulary concerned with starter/torsionbar area. Thanks

If your engine takes a dump where does the oil out your exhaust go? No sense in pulling a James Bond on yourself.
