    I would JB weld it back on with extra bonding around the edges, maybe make a strap around the sides and cover it with jb weld too, and recut the threads. Not a high stress area.

    Degreeing a Cam Shaft

    I dismantled my hydraulic tappet and filled it with bee bees to remove the drain down and then compared it to placing the dial indicator on the edge of the tappet (which doesn't depress) to make sure I got an accurate reading. Solid reading were identical.

    Some people drill a hole from the fender and put a body plug in to make access easier. My 400 Dart is the 1 sixteenth from underneath variety!

    You got the tough ones out. Sometimes its easier with a wrench from underneath 1 sixteenth at a time.

    If anything has been cut you can check with plastigage to find clearance and any angle and go from there. A light coating of oil will help the plastigage disengage cleanly and clean thoroughly before sealing.

    Help me sort my combo

    Started her this afternoon. Found out the old gas in the tank didn't have enough octane to lite her up. Put in some octane booster and away we go! Still have a lot of underhood cleanup as well as an exhaust leak, but I'm stoked!
