I don't think paint is needed with dot5. I have 3 cars with dot 5, one going back to 2004 on the restoration and the master and fluid looks new.

11 years no issues with Dot 5

I converted my 68 Valiant front drum to 73 disc setup and put the calipers to the rear do to an after market sway bar. Just looking before I order the rubber hoses I think they will be to short. What hoses have you guys used on your conversions???

Just wondering how much the conversion to the later model disc pushes the front wheels out. I'm looking for new wheels to bring them back in some. Any one ever measure the difference ?
