    Those rubber mounts look good. I had bought a pair of replacements...(made in China) and my little 273 ripped them in half within six weeks. Don't make a bad choise...make sure there "NOT" from those guys that make rice and 200 for next to nothing.:-D

    Add-on Also, to ensure it's "not" a power issue, confirm first by doing a voltage reading or use a probe light at the sender units wire. If there's a reading or the light comes on you know your wiring run is fine. No sence in ripping the cluster out if it's the sender or open circuit at the...

    Another 60/40 call? Your right, pulling the plug wire will quiet your exhaust from that cylinder; but then again, pulling the plug wire means no power stoke which therefore puts less rock and roll on your piston pin, piston rod ect. I think ya know what I mean.....But, wishful thinking or hoping...

    I back the boys up here, Sorry to say my friend...but those bottom end noises really suck. Your looking at piston down $$$. :wack: If it was your top end perhaps OK (valve, lifter), but as stated... pulling that plug wire says it all. :sad2:
