Buy it NOW or it's going to the Scrap yard.... 800 Firm !

Years back I bought a '55 International pickup. Behind the seat was this odd looking tail light. Turns out it was from a '65 Studebaker, drivers side. I put it in the trunk of the Dart and went to a car show in town. There was a '65 Studebaker at the show, I told the guy he could have it for...

Buy it NOW or it's going to the Scrap yard.... 800 Firm !

Sorta makes me think of this Facebook post I saw today.. Looks pretty good to me to use as a parts car! I mean, all my parts cars have rotten frame rails and the rats got into it, you know, parts car kinda cars. "Parting out soon, 1964 valiant barracuda Canadian model, winter project...

    Annoying new neighbors

Yeah.. we have one of "those" too. Came home one day and they had torn down all the trees right through the creek which flows through the back. Dug holes in the protected marsh, it's a riperian zone. We used to get owls and all kinds of neat wildlife back there. They've since moved on. Jugs of...

    Daily driver

Well, it's always been a 4x4 :) It just wasn't always green, and didn't have XLT trim and that funky side tool box in the bed.

    Daily driver

Thanks. It used to be brown, when my dad passed and I got it. Drove it for 10 years, then the body rotted out badly. So I bought the green one, it was a 2wd. I swapped the body, put it onto the brown truck's chassis. Been green for a few months now.

    Daily driver

I do! For years it was my '65 Valiant sedan year round, then a '74 Scamp year round, now my '68 Polara wagon (currently for sale) year round. I also have a '75 Ford F250 4x4 that gets driven year round.

Been gone a while, been busy

Hey, thanks. I think I joined in '06 I think. back then there were only a few hundred members or so. Yeah, I never seem to find the nice ones, just the ones sitting neglected in a field.

Put together a Mopar club for the island , West Coast Mopars. I'm founder/president. We have 78 registered members so far, still climbing. Also host a car show - Mopar only - last Sunday in May, this year will be May 27. Last year we had about 100 Mopars show up, it was a great show.

Been gone a while, been busy

No, been home a while. Worked at Harmac (pulp mill in Nanaimo) on maintenance in the steam plant for a year, now working for a local company in town, just him and I. Nice to be home every night.

Didn't expect anyone to notice, really just an excuse to show off what I'm working on.

Been gone a while, been busy

I've been busy , picked up a few different projects , but still check in time to time. Been keeping busy with a '62 Chrysler Windsor, 361 & pushbutton 727. Lowered, Scarebird front disc conversion, amazing driver, absolutely love this car. Traded my '74 Scamp for a '68 Polara 500 wagon...

    Picked up another 4x4 - '77 F250

I don't have much experience with the 400, but the 390 in my '75 has some serious balls compared to this thing. Mind you, it's a high compression motor out of a '67 Fairlane GTA.

    Picked up another 4x4 - '77 F250

I know, I know, not a Mopar, but I know some of you on here like these old trucks. I already have a nice '75 Ford, factory Highboy, but couldn't pass up this one. I've known about this truck for 10 years, its been sitting in the same spot for years. I was in mine and thought, I'm finally going...

    Brought home a new friend

We brought home a new friend today, he's still pretty nervous but seems to be fitting in well. He's already attached at my hip. He's super cool, very brave yet very relaxed. I've had dogs my whole life but Carmen and I haven't had our own together yet. Should be good. Named him Reggie...

The Kinsol Trestle in the Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island. Carmen and I drove out to it a few weeks ago. It's one of the tallest trestles in the world and was finished in 1920. They used it to transport old growth trees for lumber.

Say Goodbye to '65 Fargo W300

I pulled out the rat piss stained carpet and installed the new black carpet that came with it. I scrubbed down the seats with some all purpose cleaner. Now instead of smelling like rat piss it smells like melons and new carpet. Looks a lot better too. Too bad someone did a number on the seat.

Say Goodbye to '65 Fargo W300

One big giveaway is the distributor on an angle to the right. Sort of like how Buick had a 340, it was a 2 bbl engine and nothing like the 340 Chrysler put out.

Say Goodbye to '65 Fargo W300

Didn't want to let it go, but I've got a '69 Fargo W100 Power Wagon, a '64 Dodge W300 Power Wagon, and a '49 Fargo. Then there's the '67 383 4 speed Barracuda notch project the Rambler I've got to get sold, and a few others. The engine was a 318 Poly. Originally a 2bbl but I found a Weiand...
