    Can these be changed?

Flaming River sells one but they're expensive. Or you can hunt for a manual steering column.

    69 Barracuda steering

I have a few of them for A bodies and I'm over on Vancouver Island. Welcome to the site btw, let's see some pictures of the car.

    Cracked Steering Wheel

That's the most common split those Early A wheels get. Good luck finding one that's not split there.

    Do it all Duster!!!

Yep, the stuff seems to be everywhere. I'm an electrician. Who are the guys working for? Alliance or PCL?

    Do it all Duster!!!

I have nothing to add, but wanted to mention I work at the Agrium Potash mine in Vanscoy, and a friend I work with is from Martensville.

    Steering coupler and headers

You could buy a Flaming River coupler, or grind down the corners of the coupler, or just beat the headers in to clear. Have you tried using new motor mounts? If they're old and worn, the engine will sit a bit lower and the coupler could be rubbing the header that way.

    pitman arm removal

Easiest way is with the tool. Your parts store should have one, they're cheap.

    Manual steering conversion

I bought my conversion joint from Flaming River. It was a bit pricey though.
  16. 70DartMike

    is there a difference?

The control arms are the same, except the 73+ uses a larger ball joint where the 72- uses a smaller ball joint.

    Subframe Connectors, just do it!

I'd like to buy from US Car Tool, but when I filled out the form, it said it doesn't recognize shipping to my area of Canada.. ? Hmm.

    Subframe Connectors, just do it!

Where did you get them from Glen? I'm looking for a set to weld into my 70 Dart fairly soon.

    Ticking from drivers side wheel

You could have a rock caught between your dust shield and rotor, or rotor and rim, etc.

    Air Shocks Really Helped

That's what I was thinking too.. Tighten those nuts back up. The bolts you want to undo a half turn at a time, are the bolts you will see if you look inside the under side of your lower control arms. One bolt on each side, pointing down.

    bottoming out

I would reccommend using a torsion bar tool, you can buy them at manciniracing.com, you just clamp it to your torsion bar, remove the C clips at the rear, and hammer on the tool and out come the torsion bars. Remember to first put the car on jack stands, and totally loosen off the torsion bar...

Cant get a idler arm for my car????

We need a picture of yours, perhaps somebody in the past put the wrong one in your car, or modified yours to fit.
  26. 70DartMike

    Stumped maybe stupid???????

Remove the C clips for sure, and using that tool I pictured, hammer away. Sometimes you have to pound the sh*t out of them to get them out.
  27. 70DartMike

    Stumped maybe stupid???????

Here is the link for the torsion bar removal/installer tool, it is $35. http://chucker54.stores.yahoo.net/tobarreabceb.html

No worries, I never used vice grips either, I had just heard from other people that they work.
