First start up.. Does the dash need to be hooked up?

You don't need a dash to drive the car, you just need all the wires hooked up correctly. I don't have a dash in my Duster and I drive it all the time. I removed the entire wiring harness as well as the factory dash. I just have a digital display and a head light switch.

No, there are a couple of nuts that hold them on. My car is a '72 so your car might be different. I'm not positive which years interchange.

    Spark plug gap recomendations

I don't even bother to check the plug gap anymore. I use NGK plugs and screw them in right out of the box. They seem to always work great. I do use the OEM style plugs with the wider gap since I figure that is the modern way to go. NGK 6987 is what I use with aluminum heads.

    EZ Wiring Alternator Wiring (Denso)

Is the wiring harness installed? If so then use a volt meter to figure it out. You need a 12 volt reference and a 12 volt switched. If the harness isn't installed then look at the wiring schematic to see where you get a 12 volt source and a 12 volt switched. The switched wire should be from the...

    Denso Alternator

I have a low mount kit for a 90A Denso alternator. It is an OEM alternator from a Land Cruiser and has a v groove pulley. Very heavy duty alternator. I also make a low mount kit for the 60A Denso. The low mount kit is for EFI engines since they don't need a fuel pump.

    Battery box for small battery

I'm going to run a small lightweight battery in my BB A body car so I fabricated a smaller version of the factory battery box. I put it in the stock location since that seemed like a logical thing to do. I also added the starter solenoid to the bracket just to clean things up.

E Curve users - Which Coil

The little Blaster SS coil worked so well with the E-curve distributor that I designed a bracket for it. Part number AR307. It is a fairly popular product these days.

    Later Model Alternators

The Denso swap kit has been around for so many years that all a person needs to do is run a Google search and they'll find the information. "Denso alternator for Mopar" or anything like that will find the information. The instructions are on a PDF that can be downloaded...

    Later Model Alternators

I've been selling the bracket kits for the 60A Denso alternator for years now. Lots of people have used that kit to install the Toyota alternator onto a SB, BB or Hemi engine. Seems to work great. I've had a 60A Denso on my Coronet for a long time as have most of the Mopar guys I know.

small nippondenso alternator, what fits a SBMopar

I make the 60 amp street kit as well as a smaller race kit. The tiny race alternator is fairly expensive but it drops a few more pounds. http://arengineering.com/products/sb-with-8172-race-powermaster-alternator/
