    Anyone Else Like Beer Memorabilia?

It's been a while since I updated this thread, but with the lockdown in effect here, I've been getting signs hung on the walls. Here is what we got done yesterday. I hung this one a couple of weeks ago. It was named the Dominator for obvious reasons.

    Name this tool?

See posts 13 and 14 above. It is for punching holes in leather goods so they can be laced together. It belonged to my Grandfather. I still have the wallet he helped me make as a kid.

    Anyone Else Like Beer Memorabilia?

I traded him the three cardboard signs above. Turns out they are a set that are actually pretty rare. I wasn't going to do them justice in my meager collection so I traded them to Steve for three motion signs. Here's the first one.

    Anyone Else Like Beer Memorabilia?

@LocuMob I'm meeting up with Steve today and trading him these cardboard signs for some Hamm's signs that I've always wanted. These are pretty rare and deserve to be in his collection. Sadly, we are meeting in Nebraska so I still won't get to see his collection.

Thanks guys, that's exactly what it is. It's not my dad's it was my grandfather's who did leatherwork.

I had a old retired wood worker look at it yesterday and just scratch his head?

    Name this tool?

I guess I should have given more info. When you slide the thing that looks like a trigger forward, a small chisel like blade comes out of the tip. It has adjustable stops at both ends to control the travel of the blade. Might be for fine woodworking or maybe leatherwork?

    Name this tool?

I need some help identifying this tool. My brother-in-law found it in a box of things that belonged to my dad. I don't remember it and have no idea what it is for? Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

    Anyone Else Like Beer Memorabilia?

I had some friends go out of state recently and they bought a case of beer everywhere they stopped to bring back home. Friday night, I had a Stag, a Lone Star, a Carling's, a Blatz, and a.... I forget.

    Anyone Else Like Beer Memorabilia?

We're trying to put a trip together right now. I bought some cardboard signs last weekend and Steve had never seen them before!?!?! I sold them to him for his collection but kept the big country club sign for myself. It's mid 50's and very cool. At least I think so!

    Anyone Else Like Beer Memorabilia?

Here's my latest estate sale find. I picked this one up pretty cheap on Friday. It has a couple of bulbs that flicker and the scene didn't rotate. Spent about thirty minutes with some lube and a screwdriver and now the scene moves like it should. I'll spend today detailing it out and making look...

    Keurig users...help!

There's a reason why so many people get those machines for free from a friend. They're fine for offices where everyone might like different types of coffee (we even have pods of tea), and only want one cup (if you call 6 ounces a cup of coffee). We use a 14 cup Cuisanart at home with fresh...

    Anyone Else Like Beer Memorabilia?

@memike That's how I get quite a few of my signs. The cable guy was over a couple of weeks ago and saw my collection. He mentioned that he had a few signs that he needed to get out of his storage unit. Two days later he showed up trying to GIVE me this pile of signs. I couldn't take them for...

    Anyone Else Like Beer Memorabilia?

My latest addition is considered to be the holy grail of Hamm's neons. It popped up on CL yesterday and the seller told me that it was sold pending payment. I asked him if he had recieved a deposit and he hadn't. Thirty minutes later he had a deposit and the sign is mine. The goblets light up in...

    Anyone Else Like Beer Memorabilia?

I started off collecting Hamm's items but have now started collecting pieces that have a local tie either by having a brewery in my area or pieces that came from local bars and taverns.

Yeah, he had people shooting a TV show come to visit the "Bear Cave" last week. He has a warehouse full of stuff that he has doubles of or it's just not good enough to be displayed in his collection. When you drive around in a mini-van that says Dr. Hamm's on it and I buy Hamm's stuff, people...

    Anyone Else Like Beer Memorabilia?

That's my buddy holding the signs in the last pic! Steve has been a big help when I find Hamm's stuff and need to know what it's worth. I sent him a sign last month that he needs parts from and he sent me two lights in return. He said if I'd drive 6 hours north he'd give me a ride in his Demon!
