    Armrest/console/cup holder

She wanted $30 for the console and I convinced her to ship it across state for $20. I knew those consoles were spendy. That's one of the reasons I didn't have one already.

That was the accelerometer on my old Dart. Of course it also popped open when I hit a big bump too.

    Grant Tuff Wheel Review

I will look under the cap. In fact I've got to work on the contacts for the horn button anyway. Don't get me wrong, I would LOVE for it to be an original Tuff wheel but I'm not holding my breath. Thanks guys!

    Grant Tuff Wheel Review

I'm pretty sure the one I have is a reproduction. I'm just trying to figure out which one?

    Grant Tuff Wheel Review

I am trying to ID the one that came on my Duster. It has a strange ridge all the way around on the inside of the padded area. It looks nice, I just haven't seen one with this ridge?

    Show us your cup holders!

But seriously, I would like something that would at least hold a bottle of water and fit between the bucket seats of an A body.

    Dash Pad Repair?

A professional interior repair guy (Dr. Vinyl around here) could fix those cracks but it would cost more than the plastic cap. I've been running a cap for 15 years and haven't had one person comment about it.

What safe protectant to use on dash pads....

I use Mother's Back to Black. It makes my dash and vinyl top look like new.

    Complete rally dash frame removal

Subscribed. I need to do the same exact thing to my 67. I also have a powder coated frame and new pad. I am going to buy the Classic Dash insert along with new gauges. Hopefully, I can complete my project over the next winter.

Leather wrapped Tuff wheel here with an A body can adapted to work on the 67-69 column.

    Steering wheel clock

I imagine it rotated with the wheel, but that would be cool if it floated like a compass and always stayed upright.

    Steering wheel clock

My 67 had the same wheel on it and it was in nice shape too. Wish I would have held on to it but it did bring good money.

Replacing the seats in your A body.... opinions

I was about to suggest the Seabring seats as I remember other members have used them in the past. They are cheap and plentiful and still technically a Mopar seat. I used the stock 68 buckets in mine with new foam, covers and some springs repaired. They look good and are period correct but they...

    KICK PANELS W/BUILT IN SPEAKER

I did the same thing. Big speakers in the kick panel. I ordered an angled spacer ring from eBay that goes between the speaker and the kick panel and kind of points the speaker back towards the passenger compartment instead of straight out at a 90 degree angle. The vent doors only open up about...

    Annoyed with Dantes

I had the exact opposite experience dealing with Dante's. I found Legendary pieces cheaper than they were selling them for and they price matched it. I'd pay a little more and wait for the Legendary stuff.

    Do it yourself interiors!

Back in the late 70's you could buy the material with fake pleats already sewn (melted) into the vinyl. My dad and I redid the interior of my old Duster with some. It turned out okay for a 16 year old's first car.

    Tuff Wheel Question

I hear ya and you're certainly welcome. I had a column, an adapter and a Tuff wheel. I tried to make it all fit together the best I could. This is what I came up with. Glad I could help.

Yes and yes. This was all done with basic hand tools and a drill and bits.

    Tuff Wheel Question

Yes. I did the same on my 67. I took an A body adapter and drilled out the spot welds and only used the half that I needed. Here's a pic of a stock A body adapter on the left. The smaller part at the top is the offending piece that we want to remove. Here's a shot of the adapter with the spot...

    1967 Dart Concept Parts

I think they turned out great! Unfortunately, as I was hinting to above, you have a small target audience. I'm sure you could make a run of them, say 100 or so, and eventually you would get rid of them. Would you make any money on them? Only you know that. Sounds like you were doing it partially...

    1967 Dart Concept Parts

Very cool. What are your plans for these items once you get them cast? Are you going to try to market them? Seems like an awful lot of expense to reproduce a one year only seat medallion.

    Mechanical or electrical gauges?

I'm 55 and am the first to admit that my eyes aren't what they used to be. I went with the Auto Gage volt/oil/temp mechanical gauges with nice BIG faces so that I can tell at a glance where I'm at. I have a fresh engine so I'm constantly checking temp and oil pressure, and I'm perfectly fine...

    Tuff Wheel Fitment

I put a Tuff wheel and adapter on my 67 column. Here's what the adapter looked like the first time I tried it. Nope, that's not gonna work. So I drilled out a few spot welds and took it apart. I threw away the lower section and mounted it just using the top section. When...
