That's a modern Vespa that someone has bedazzled. Here's my 62 Vespa VBB. Sixty two years old and still starts on the first or second kick (both of us!).
If anyone else is interested like I was, here is a link.
Paxton Mopar Small Block Carbureted Supercharger Systems
I passed on a nearly complete Paxton blower set up two years ago, and I still kick myself. I'll be following along.
This is my first car. 1971 Duster 318 3-spd on the floor. We called it the Ruster. It was my mom's car and I bought it from my parents. It had Fenton mags on it before they bought it and I talked them into dual exhaust for my 16th birthday present. It wasn't the nicest car in the school parking...
Just like this thread? It started out lamenting about people giving advice on FaceBook, then it morphed into people giving advice on FABO, and now we're talking about customers complaints on the service drive.
I agree with Hemi above. No personal experience but I have heard that name dragged through the mud for the last twenty years. Bad attitude and bad service. I have always steered clear of Jim’s.
They have a hell of a price on them, but when you try to check out it says that they aren't available for shipping? I'll reach out to them thanks!
Small Block W2 1-7/8" Race Headers
Mancini offered half price shipping a couple of weeks ago as part of their Black Friday promotion but it's not available now. I've reached out to sales at TTI to see if they are even in stock.
I'm looking to buy a set of TTI headers and was wondering which vendor I should use or should I buy them direct from the manufacturer? Does anyone have a good experience that they can share? I know that Mancini, Hughes and Indy are retailers, but I've had customer service issues with all of...
So what is the "spot" going to do? The way I see it, they can either they can cut your driveshaft and put on the end from the Jeep or install your factory end and use a conversion u-joint. Dr. Diff sells conversion joints as does RockAuto.com, NAPA and O'reilly's (all on the island).
What "kit"...
Stop buying from eBay then? Most major companies that sell cranks, rods and pistons should ship internationally? I'd check Mancini, Hughes, Summit, Jegs, etc? Good luck finding your parts.
I've used the US postal service to mail parts to Europe several times without a problem but it wasn't through eBay. I recently "mailed" a grille to a member in Australia. We're still waiting on that one to arrive.
Since this is a WIW thread, how about a rebuilt 318 that has a stock 340 cam, Performer intake and Edelbrock carb. Runs well, no smoke. Complete carb to pan.
Today we're heading out to the annual HPAC Mopar show here in Kansas City. I'm not going to do the judged portion but I spent the afternoon yesterday doing a little cleaning.
