    LD4B Intake question

I think that you should sell that intake to someone building a 318 and put the money towards a better intake for your 340. They sell adapters for the sending units at the auto parts store or online.

    Wasn’t someone looking for a W2 intake.

Something fishy going on there. He joined that page and posted his for sale item the same day. I messaged him and told him that I was in KC and could bring him CASH today and he never responded.

    Roller Block Cams?

The engine I bought was a crate engine and was running a flat tappet cam when I bought it. I added the spiders and the lifters. Yes, they are becoming rarer and rarer.

I used a Comp roller cam in a 91 360 block with Melling replacement roller lifters. Engine is still running strong.

360 oil pan recommendations for 69 Barracuda

I'll second the Kevko pan. We used one on a 408 build and have a 416 going together that will use a Kevko also.

Chrome 1970 340 Valve Covers....Hustle Stuff Direct Connection or Factory?

I found these and quickly snapped them up. I needed a taller valve cover to clear the Jesel rockers on my W2 build.

    Brian’s stepped up again.

I think that's awesome! I'm building a 416 engine for my Duster and am going to keep it as stock looking as possible. Nothing to the extent of a true FAST car but more of a sleeper.

    Nick's Garage dyno's a 318 Stroker.

I watch Nick's Garage purely for the entertainment value, I get my knowledge here on FABO. I invented a drinking game where I have to drink every time he says "here we go". I can usually kill a couple of beers every episode. I find the show corny and pandering to his audience but isn't that most...

    Engine mount carnage

I used the Shumacher poly mounts in my Dart for five years. 500 ft/lbs of torque and sticky tires, never had a problem with them. They are pricey but worth it to some people. I am going to reuse the left one on my Duster with even more torque in the new engine. That will be a good test of...

Let's Build a 416 with Cast Iron Heads and Manifolds

My original plan was to build the J heads I have and use them. Brian has a nice used set of W2s complete with Jesel rockers. By the time he puts all new parts in the J heads and I buy decent rockers it’s not going to be that much more for the W2s. With my manifolds in place they will be hard to...

Let's Build a 416 with Cast Iron Heads and Manifolds

Wow, this thread took an ugly turn fast? I don’t know what I’m supposed to grow up or man up about? The whole thread is about building a stroker engine using iron heads and cast-iron manifolds. That part hasn’t changed?
