325 50 15 Drag Radials what are you using ?

I've run two sets of the Mickey Thompson ET Street R's in that size and have nothing but good things to say. Although, if you like to do burnouts on the street they aren't the best. They tend to hook, not spin.

He's retired, not building wheels anymore. He does have cars for sale.

Trim rings for deep dish mopar rally wheels info needed

Sorry, I just now noticed this. The rings on the back ARE wider, but that is because they are 15" wheels and the fronts are 14". 2 3/4" wide on the back and 2 1/2 on the front. Hope this helps.

Mine are 15X8 but I believe these to be standard 15" trim rings

    Mini tub

I used this method from the old Big Block Dart website when I measured for my wheels. I used a washer and string for a plum bob. I must have measured twenty times before ordering my wheels, but they fit like a glove. How To Measure For Proper Wheel Sizes

    wheels on sale at summit

Bob they don't list their weight anywhere that I can find? I did just find that Center Line is making the Auto Drag again in a 15X3.5" but the price is $300 each!

    wheels on sale at summit

Thanks! I just checked and Summit is only carrying the Qualifiers in four sizes now and the price is cut on them too.

    wheels on sale at summit

$99 each?!?! That's a hell of a price. I'm running the Centerline Competition Qualifiers and have had nothing but complements on them.

    Wheel Vintiques or US Wheel

I've seen the mopardude's website and he is within a couple of hours from me. I was thinking about having him build me some custom steelies. Let me know how your contact with him goes? Thanks!

OEM look 15x10 steel rims with custom backspacing?

Seven inch backspace is what my 67 called for after the mini tub and springs were relocated. We chose to narrow the rear end 4" on each side to get the look we were going for.

I want those wheels. Forget the picture, can you get a part number??? lol

    Cragar S/S Direct Drilled?

Okay, sorry for the confusion. Those are the original direct drill wheels like the ones I described in the eBay ad. Edit: Wait. I went back and read your post. You bought direct drill wheels from Summit recently that have flat washers? Can you post a link to them on Summit? Thanks!
  19. BrianT

    Cragar S/S Direct Drilled?

NO washers on direct drill wheels. They use a conical lug nut. "Offset washers" are for unilug wheels. I'll be interested in seeing pictures also. I found some old Cragars on eBay last month. A pair of 15X4 4 1/2" bolt pattern sold for damned near $1000. Too rich for my blood.

    Cragar S/S Direct Drilled?

Interesting. The reason I didn't notice this was that when you click the Summit link above, the picture shown is a 08/61 wheel and even has uni-lug, but the description says direct drill. They just stuck a generic Cragar SS wheel pic in there and thought that there wasn't any difference.
  21. BrianT

    Cragar S/S Direct Drilled?

Summit Racing carries "direct drill" SS wheels in a 4 1/2" bolt pattern as well as uni-lug wheels. I was looking at them this morning. Cragar 61C Series S/S Super Sport Chrome Wheels 61C561232

    15" steel wheels?

Have the seller put a tape measure across the wheel. May be Ford which take that bigger cap.

    Rear quarter lip mods?

I gained about 3/8" by trimming my quarters back with a cut off wheel and then smoothing them with a grinder. It's pretty obvious where the spot welds are located and I just used care not to go past them. If you didn't know that I did it, you can't even tell, unlike rolling the lip with a hammer...

    Back Spacing, which way?

Not to be a dick to the original poster but to help anyone else who might read this thread. Every time one of these threads pop up and someone says that "AB&C used this size wheel on their car, but it won't fit mine?!?" I cringe. I post a link that tells how to measure YOUR car using only a set...

Real Centerlines Auto Drags getting some looks

"Design Infini will be relaunching the Center Line Wheel brand with wheel designs that pay tribute to the heritage of this iconic brand." The company I work for gets bought and sold every five years or so. We just keep plugging away. Hopefully, Centerline will do the same.

Real Centerlines Auto Drags getting some looks

I love the look of the old Centerlines. Back in the mid seventies everyone was running Cragars, Keystones or slots. A guy in HS was building a Camaro and when he showed up with a set of Centerlines, it blew everyone's mind. Some people didn't like the look of the "silly modern wheels" Lol

    Mini tub=What tire/wheel combo

This will be comparing apples to oranges but my 67 is mini tubbed and has the springs moved in to the frame rails. In order to fit a 15X10 wheel in there using a stock width A body rear end, I would have had to use 7 1/2 inches of backspacing. This wasn't the look I wanted so I narrowed the rear...
