Small block tube header ID Doug’s or TTI?

Thats what they are, early TTIs didn’t have the step. I think it will have a punched number in them like T3 on the flange.

Why are there so few blown small blocks?

The Landy kits usually but not all used an Offy dual quad 5488 manifold. This one was casted in 1984. Lower pulley was a Chevy one modified to fit SBM. Manifold is as old as me! Hahaha

    SM Head Install... forgetting anything?

@mopowers was right about headers gaskets now seeing the new picture. It is the machined surface on the speed master head. I have Edelbrock’s and don’t remember seeing that surface on them. Header gaskets were definitely leaking. My recommendation would be Percy’s, expensive but work. CHRYSLER...

    SM Head Install... forgetting anything?

Justin, those header gaskets are on up side down from the picture, this will definitely cause a exhaust leak

    SM Head Install... forgetting anything?

From the video sounds like exhaust leak to me. Take a flash light and one of your dental mirrors to look around all the exhaust ports at the header flanges.

uh oh..... set back. water in oil

I would pull timing cover since you are already torn down some and look at water ports. I just did timing chain on a 273,the timing cover had a pin hole causing the same issue coolant in the oil. Ian

    90 PSI Oil Pressure.

Does it have a mechanical or electrical gauge? Possible line kinked to gauge? Possible remote oil filter causing increased pressure from blockage? 50 psi at idle isn’t that high but with all the leaks that have been occurring it may also be contributing to them(leaks).

    Rear Main Seal

Make sure that the crankcase can breath or it will continue to leak, I’m sure someone already mentioned it but thought I would re-mention it. Hope this cures it. Good luck

    Well It Finally Happened

Possible with pan off for leak repair pick-up moved? Maybe just enough to cause issue? Hopefully nothing major, it will all work out I’m sure.

    Well It Finally Happened

A lot depends on how much you are going to swap over from your existing long block. I personally would go with aluminum heads if cost isn't a factor. That compression will be ok on 93 as long as cylinder pressure is where it needs to be. As far as intake, performer RPM would also be my choice...

    Well It Finally Happened

I would keep it supercharged and build the motor for it.

    Leaks!

Did you fix the freeze plug?
  25. DARTGAME

    Leaks!

I would fix it right. The aluminum sealer stuff can cause overheating down the road. If the freeze plug is not behind the transmission than should be simple repair. The oil pan can could be a little more challenging. Ian
