    Low peak oil pressure

Are you using a windage tray? Idk, maybe I’m way off but I’m thinking windage.

    Low peak oil pressure

Yes, the most primary concern is crank windage. If the crank is whipping up the oil, it’ll aerate it and the pump will not be able to pump it.

    Low peak oil pressure

I was able to build up to 50psi on a cheap harbor freight drill, IIRC. It did kill the drill though lol.

Generic braided fuel line and regulator, worthwhile buy ?

I wouldn't trust a knockoff regulator, I bought an Aeromotive bypass regulator for $150 which I think is worth the price premium. The cheap AN lines will probably be just fine for a little while, the rubber liner will harden and degrade very quickly compared to quality lines especially when...

    Super Victor flow testing

Interested in seeing the results of the 2.055 valve head. That's the same setup I'll be running, except with an EFI elbow instead of a 1" spacer.

Has anyone seen or used one of these

Haven't installed it yet, still have to swap heads. The holes are in the right place so that's a start lol .

A couple reasons why I hate doing port work after others

When you are tubing the pushrod holes, are you porting first and then tubing? Or the other way round?

    408 stroker head gasket recommendation

    Yup Pushrod oiling: S72025K = 1.5, S72026K = 1.6 Shaft oiling: S72005K = 1.5, S72006K = 1.6

    408 stroker head gasket recommendation

Harland sharp has rockers for 1.5 or 1.6 on both la or magnum

    408 stroker head gasket recommendation

Ah makes total sense now. Personally, I’d tap the block and block off the oil passages on the deck. It’s reversible if you ever want to switch. I wouldn’t want to rely on a head gasket to seal that oil passage.

    408 stroker head gasket recommendation

What made you decide to order the pushrod oiling rockers? Do you have oil-through lifters?

    408 stroker head gasket recommendation

What makes you think that? They can be ran with shaft oiling or pushrod oiling depending on need/want. The rockers you purchased are specifically for pushrod oiling so the TF heads can be used on magnum engines. The S70026K p/n is for LA blocks with shaft oiling. P/n S72026K is for magnum blocks...

I know, I know, please not another Speedmaster post.

Imagine if Speedmaster released an offset rocker head and rockers for it in their current price bracket, it'd be like $1500 on black friday. A man can dream...

Victor340 and Super Victor gasket alignment checking day.

Here's my "Brown Box Special" EFI manifold. Looks the same as the one you are working on.

Victor340 and Super Victor gasket alignment checking day.

Mine is the 28155 p/n, so its drilled for injectors as I'm going efi. Thanks for the gasket #.

Victor340 and Super Victor gasket alignment checking day.

@pittsburghracer Which intake gaskets do you recommend again? I tried to search some of your past threads but I couldn't find it. I just got my Super Victor in a "brown box" and I want to check against your pictures in this thread.

    PAINLESS WIRE HARNESS (thoughts)

I'm sure Painless makes a good harness but I couldn't swallow the price as its essentially a generic harness. Their instructions are good though. I ended up going with the speedway motors 22-circuit harness, it's half the price and so far I'm happy with it.

    Turbo'd con-rod preferences?

I just think they weren't a great fit for his goals, if he wants peace of mind.

    LS rockers on a Mopar?

Part 3 covering the rockers came out today. The rocker "tray" is interesting. Really cool idea if someone had access to a mill.

    LS rockers on a Mopar?

We're in luck! There's going to be a three part build series on this engine. Just saw the first one was released this morning on youtube.

New TrickFlow vs Edelbrock Victor340 intake testing. Numbers are in.

My initial impression, based solely on the plenum floor, was that the TF would flow only slightly better. Color me surprised. Thanks for sharing.

    Extra water temp sensor location

My Air-gap clone intake has a 3/8"npt (I think) bung on the back of the driver side intake flange into the rear coolant port, and two more on the front crossover below the t-stat.

    Magnum intake drilling plate project

I think it’d be easier to add LA bolt holes to the M1 intake rather than drill the heads. Kinda like speedmaster does on their knockoff air gap.

    Magnum Roller Lifters

I don't think Comp makes hyd roller lifters without link bars for small block mopars, they're all retro-fit link bar type.

    Knurled Crank Snout???

The snout was probably damaged in the past and they wanted to save the crank. In order to save the crank a machine shop knurled the snout.
