Cleaning over spray on the seats and dash pad.

I used Simple Green in the past, and it worked like a charm. The over spray came right off, and it was immediate with no harm to the vinyl upholstery...

Probably can't find these seat skins.

They were custom made using original seat skins is my guess. I've seen that sort of thing a lot in my travels...

What is this called (Dash seal???) and do I really need it?

I remember stuffing a pack of matches under an 8 track to make it play better. Am I getting old or what? lol

What is this called (Dash seal???) and do I really need it?

Well, the factory put them on there for a reason, they wouldn't have gone to the bother and expense otherwise. My thought is that they installed them to prevent squeaks and rattles like mentioned earlier. It won't be the end of the world if you leave them off, but I would find a pair and install...

    Radio delete fasteners?

Technically, you're right. The correct terminology would be a ''Radio Block Off Plate'' I suppose. But most people will always call them ''Radio Delete Plates'' including myself. Whatever you choose to call it, they're still cool as hell!

    Correct Speedometer for 73 Valiant

100% correct. Also, I may add that the speedometer does not have anything to do with how the speed is presented on the dial. The speedometer is calibrated by the factory to read say 60 MPH on a 120 speedo and the same on a 100 speedo. It is the drive pinion in the tranny that feeds the...

Upholstery for 2dr and 4dr sedans

Yes, the 2 door sedans '67 to '69 had the 4 door rounded bottom rear seat. Actually, all a 2 door sedan in those years was a converted 4 door. So.......... the windshield, rear window, roof, rear seat, trunk lid, and front clip are the same as a 4 door.

    Get Vin Tag Painted

You're right, but I think the O.P. is talking about the V.I.N. tag that is on the dash attached with two rosette rivets visible through the driver's side of the windshield. It should be low gloss black with ''Chrysler Corporation'' with a pentastar under the numbers in white. The ECS transfer...

Were 70-up A-Body back seats the same? Seat ID help needed

And I may add that that's a 2 door seat, the 4 doors were rounded on the bottom section to allow people easier access to the rear.

Take a look at these C2Cfabrication floor pans...

What are these called and where can I buy them?

No, they're do-dads. They shouldn't be hard to find used, and usually free. My suggestion is to place a wanted ad on here with the pictures you posted describing what you need and how many. Most A-Body cars had them at least from '70 and up........

How to clean / polish instruments cluster lens?

Believe it or not, i've used toothpaste and a soft cloth before with excellent results. Toothpaste has a mild abrasive in it that does the trick. Just use regular Crest or similar, and clean after with some windex. Guaranteed to bring a smile to your face!

    1970 Duster remote mirror

The passenger side was always non remotely adjusted (from inside of the car). The driver's side if it was remotely adjusted (from inside of the car) the hole is in the metal upper frame in front of the Duster emblem. Yours looks like it never had an adjustable one on the driver's side originally.

Sorry..What's the official name for the gear indicator on the column shifter?

On the contrary, they were very common in those years. I bet they made a million of them combining all of the body styles made by Chrysler over several years with the same column style including trucks etc............. (not exaggerating)
