    Super Stock wheel arches.

I would love to see some close up shots of the car, I like the ratty looking ones. They are more realistic for the common Joe. 10 grand paint jobs are highly over rated IMHO.

    Super Stock wheel arches.

I'm okay with it. I seems to suit the stance of the car. Putting the big '68 style Super Stock hood scoop on it would make the car look more mean IMHO....

    Had some fun today.

Cool cars, words just don't justify how badass this is! What I see here is a lot of work, sacrifice, and money. Cudos to you, and thanks for posting!

Absolutely beautiful engine. It's almost a shame to put it in a car..........

Awesome! I would be tickled pink with just one of them, but 2? A lot of work and money you have invested in them, and it shows! Cudos to you.........

Not so much a clone Hemi Dart

Awesome car and history to go along with it. Some people might cringe at the fact that an H code real GTS car was used for the build. But many don't realize that this is how we did it back in the day. Matching numbers and all that didn't mean anything in those days......... Also, glad to hear it...

How are today’s as/ah cars different

Thanks for sharing your stories. That would have been awesome to see them sitting there and watching people load them up!

How are today’s as/ah cars different

Not disagreeing with you at all here, but by them being crudely built I was referring to the hammered in inner fender on the passenger side for valve cover clearance, the rear wheel openings being radiused using a torch in places, the wheel alignment was terrible, and the engines were just good...

How are today’s as/ah cars different

Also, the cars are lowered a bit which helps with aerodynamics a lot. Rear suspension and tire technology has come a long way since 1968. Cams are physically bigger and have needle bearings instead of regular babbit cam bearings that reduce flex and friction rolling resistance. Head and intake...

1968 Hemi Dart wheel well templates

You're building my dream car! Is it going to be an automatic, or are you going with a 4 speed? A couple of interior, front end, and engine compartment shots would be nice for us droolers.........

SUPER STOCK BO29 HEMI Barracuda and LO23 Hemi Dart forum

I voted a resounding yes to the forum, and if there's no room, remove the blue forum. There are a lot of us that would very much like to see how these cars are built and to drool over the pictures. These cars IMO, are the holy grail for a-bodies!

1968 Hemi Super Stock Barracuda Tom Myl's car color

I'm usually not a fan of red cars, but it works well on this car. Solid red.....no. The way it looks in the photos with graphics and lettering.....Yes!

Who's idea for the 68' Hemi Dart

From what i understand in all of the previous articles that i have read, these cars were all just quickly slapped together cars at Hurst. They were simply the ''bones'' that a racer needed to build a competitive race car. It was expected of them to take the car home, take it apart, paint in your...

    What's more Badda$$...........

Can i test drive them both and then let you know? lol I choose the Dart, because it looks more business like and the 'cuda is fancier.
