I would love to see some close up shots of the car, I like the ratty looking ones. They are more realistic for the common Joe. 10 grand paint jobs are highly over rated IMHO.

I'm okay with it. I seems to suit the stance of the car. Putting the big '68 style Super Stock hood scoop on it would make the car look more mean IMHO....

Awesome car and history to go along with it. Some people might cringe at the fact that an H code real GTS car was used for the build. But many don't realize that this is how we did it back in the day. Matching numbers and all that didn't mean anything in those days......... Also, glad to hear it...

Not disagreeing with you at all here, but by them being crudely built I was referring to the hammered in inner fender on the passenger side for valve cover clearance, the rear wheel openings being radiused using a torch in places, the wheel alignment was terrible, and the engines were just good...

Also, the cars are lowered a bit which helps with aerodynamics a lot. Rear suspension and tire technology has come a long way since 1968. Cams are physically bigger and have needle bearings instead of regular babbit cam bearings that reduce flex and friction rolling resistance. Head and intake...

You're building my dream car! Is it going to be an automatic, or are you going with a 4 speed? A couple of interior, front end, and engine compartment shots would be nice for us droolers.........

And to think that the original owners just took them off and tossed them to the side or even threw them away!

I voted a resounding yes to the forum, and if there's no room, remove the blue forum. There are a lot of us that would very much like to see how these cars are built and to drool over the pictures. These cars IMO, are the holy grail for a-bodies!

I'm usually not a fan of red cars, but it works well on this car. Solid red.....no. The way it looks in the photos with graphics and lettering.....Yes!
