I lost my spring. Please send photos!

No, I don't actually have a slant. Just guessing at it. I can't remember the last time I even messed with one, but it would have been a V-8. Back in the early '80s IIRC. Should be rebuild instruction in the FSM, no?

    Question for fenderwell header guys/gals

There are transitions spot welded on (re-pops available) as well as the inner FWs.... If the K member is still in, I wouldn't expect the frame to move. You can also brace the rails across temporarily.

    Question for fenderwell header guys/gals

IMO, if you're going SB, nix the FWs. With the engine out, I wouldn't expect it too difficult fill in if that's the route you take. Cutting all the spots out to R&R both inner wells is probably best though. It will open up hard to see areas for rust inspection, especially around those control...

    Fenderwell headers for a 440 69 A body Cuda

I can tell ya' 165SR-15 on 5" will rub the Hookers on some turns especially turning right into an uphill driveway. Even a D70-14 tire will rub them. As you can see my tubes running back under the car go under 2" X 3" connectors on a slight upward angle. Not a lot of ground clearance where they...

    Fenderwell headers for a 440 69 A body Cuda

I don't know of any kit other than possible side pipes. I drove mine down to the muffler shop and had them get the tubes angled in and back up under, almost stock location....

Header dilemmas- 67 Barracuda FB w/383

Interesting the "shorts" won't clear a RB with 143 t - 11" flywheel without a 300+ starter. They have the same FN for the "long" tube. I cant imagine why one would need the mod Z-bar with "shorts" though. Even the Schumacher's need a mod for the stock Z. Several here have posted their fix. I...

    Exhaust tips. Chrome vs Stainless

FWIW, I have a pair of '69 B'cuda tips I took off my car that I've had since '80. I don't believe they were re-popping them at that point. They are in fact canted upward slightly.

    fenderwell headers and plug wires

IMO, You will be much better off with 90's at the shock towers and steering column without stock heat shields. . Here's a straight boot look at 5 & 7 from the top for a 440.

    Fenderwell headers.....again

Other issues with the Hookers is the possibility of them hanging up on ya' backing down a trailer, getting the exhaust back under the car past the frame connectors, too tight for front torque boxes, 26" tire height and still rubbing. Other than that (and previous input from other posters), they...

Truck muffler and tail pipe $1800!

A local shop wanted 460 to bend up and install two tail pipes and pair of SS tips using the dual out muffler already there.
