Looks like it turned out really nice! Dig the blue with white combo but it would have been hard for me to not put it back to the original Curious Yellow. That's such a crazy (and rare) colour, especially for a non-muscle version! :)

The ride report from my buddies that drove down from Ottawa was bleak... monsoon rains from Perth to Guelph! That's a long way to be bailing out a leaky Valiant convertible! Felt bad for the guys. I'm sure all is forgotten now, weather there looks terrific for today. So jealous that I couldn't...

Is the show generally "sold out" before hand or can someone show up the day of and enter a car? It's been a while since I had a car in Ontario to bring. :p

My buddies are creatures of habit and park in the same spot every year... they have a logarithm for the perfect location equidistant to the toilets, food trough and parts venders... or something like that. Can't break tradition! :realcrazy::D

That's about my schedule as well. Fly out Mon or Tues, drive Ottawa -> Cambridge on Friday. Keep an eye open for this pair of Valiants on the backroads!

Got my hotel booked in Cambridge... flying to Ottawa to meet my friends and driving down and back in my best bud's '64 Valiant convertible again. Six weeks, can't wait!

As for Moparfest, I'll be there again but not with my car. I had played with the idea of driving out and back but after I did the math, the ~$3500 round-trip fuel bill put the kibosh on that! :eek:

I've been there! I used to live in the Ottawa area and drove up the 138 to cross over the Chenaux dam at Portage du Fort many, many times to visit a friend who lived in Beachburg on the Ontario side. Ottawa/Gatineau has a massive Mopar community!

I'm sure most were repainted... it seems all bright coloured cars were repainted dark green during the late 70's... sad as it's a striking colour on the road, especially today where all cars are either grey, silver or white. I love it.

Was that your Feather Duster with the 4bbl and headers on it? Great colour, KY4 Golden Fawn... same as the '75 Dart Sport I once owned!
