Ha! As a 22-year PCA member myself, I can say that there are as many hot-rodders in the Porsche world as there are purist snobs. Outlaws and racers are a big part of the scene.

I recently Google image-searched "Plymouth Scamp" and was slack-jawed at the number of Plymouth Scamps wearing Dodge Bumblebee stripes. I'd guesstimate that nearly 25% of the Scamps pictured were cross-dressed up as Dodges. Why is this? I know that Plymouth never offered a performance oriented...

This is actually supposed to be a depiction of the Mayflower ship looking straight-on its bow. Plymouth never stopped using the ship motif.

Dropped off my Satellite Rallyes for new BFGs today. It took me ages to find a shop who could actually get them! Turned out to be my trusty local Dodge dealer to the rescue. These shipping issues are messing up everything.

Just wash, drive-to-dry and pose day for mine...

I spent five hours scrubbing 48 years of nicotine and filth off of the interior of my newly-acquired Satellite. Grosses me out that I actually drove the car before the cleanup...

Older Dodge Dakota. It still might eventually suffer from some of Chrysler's notorious aging electronic issues but it's easily converted to a carb and points smallblock if all else fails. :D

My friend's 2010 Ram 1500 had the cam/lifter failure too... dealer soaked him for ~$8000 (Canadian) for the repair. The second he told me that, I put my 2009 Ram up for sale and unloaded it.... it had the notorious "Hemi tick" already and I wasn't going to stand by and let Chrysler's shitty...

Much like employers who don't state the salary of advertised jobs.... why would I waste my time sending a resume and attending an interview only to find out they're looking for slave labour?

I'd say it's steep... it's not even the performance version of the Valiant Charger, "just" a 340 car. And an automatic to boot....

Could have had a 426 Wedge swapped into it at some point and the "426" part confused the poor guy into thinking it was a Hemi. Half feel bad for guys like that, half just want to slap them. :rolleyes:
