    last nites scores

Nice finds! I suspect that couple has a side hustle reselling treasure hunt cars at a considerable profit. Or they might actually be collectors. However, given their age and lots of ‘free time’ they have, they are likely one of many that comb thru the racks at stores to snag treasure hunt and...

    Hot Wheels

Yeah my kids are into Hot Wheels which has also sucked me into it (again). It can be addictive checking the racks. We stopped by the Hot Wheels rack at Walmart the other day and it was picked clean. Maybe 3 cars left when they had over 50 pegs. I swear the store stocking people give the heads...

    Getting back in it

Well as you knew from your previous days making models, Tamiya is one of the best model makers out there for accuracy/detail! They are not cheap but then in most cases, one gets what they pay for.

Built this while Grandma was living with us.

Tamiya does an amazing job designing models, regardless if they are static or R/C! Well done on the tank!

    Who Knows Pedal Cars?

i couldn’t imagine what shipping costs would be for it these days. One is enough! I don’t have Facebook but I’m curious how much the seller is asking for it?

    Model car junk yard

Very cool. I wonder if there’s a model train yard adjacent to the wrecking yard outside of the photo?

    Model collectors. Need help!!

It all depends on how much effort you want to put into selling it. Put it on eBay and you’ll likely getting a higher price compared to putting it on Craigslist as the market in Kansas is nowhere near as big as the world.

Anyone ever made a replica of their own car?

I made a model of my ‘75 Scamp back in the mid 90’s but, since there wasn’t a great selection of A bodies back then, I settled on using a ‘68 Dart GTS model and painted it just like my Scamp.

Book on 60s slot car racing

It’s not the classic stuff but I busted out my Tyco set I had when I was a kid. My kids are having a blast playing with it and I’m glad I’ve got a couple of beater cars I don’t care much about when I watch them fly off the track. I’m not a fan of the cliffhanger loop but I loved it when I was a...

    Hot Wheels

I’ve got both of those ‘68’s which my 5 year plays with now. They are getting a quite a few miles on them down the hallway.

    Nice detail here

That's really good aging/model weathering! Don't often see it on cars unless it's part of a highly detailed model railroad layout.
