Nope I typed what I wanted to say. I can tell the difference. Some do sound close but I can tell the difference. The /6 just sound unique.

225 High Performance Engine / 904 Trans / 2 1/2 Inch Pypes exhaust - What Is It Worth

Looks nice but good luck. There is no way anyone would think a /6 sounds like a V8. The /6 has a VERY distinctive exhaust note. Not a bad thing but just saying... no way.

What is the absolutely correct blue engine paint color for a 74 Duster?

Do you really think Mopar cared if the tint was off when they built all of these cars? Hell sometimes they didn't even paint the whole car. The fit and finish on these thing sucks back in the day.

    Is this engine recoverable?

That is easy... Yes If the connecting rods are still attached to the crank... which I'm sure they are. Just pull the crank and carefully remove the pistons. The ugly one you may break and throw in the trash. Clean the cylinders and go from there. That is the toughest engine to kill ever made by...

HEI Upgrade but No Spark (kinda)

Just run battery voltage to the coil and the module. If everything else is correct it will start, if you have it connected by the picture shown. Run a hot wire from the battery if need be. Just disconnect the other ignition wire from the key first.

    SLANTY BLUES

Man that sucks. Engine work in a van even sucks more. I think after a few overheatings I'd be looking at the block too. Taking off the amount you said wouldn't have upped the compression so much you would need a different head gasket. Look at the radiator, water pump you know the drill. The...

No Gas to the Carb When Engine Warms Up

No it's not a vent problem. The fuel pump has to have nothing but a liquid to pull. It would have to be small pin holes in the lines between the tank and the fuel pump.

No Gas to the Carb When Engine Warms Up

I have had this problem before. I would be willing to bet the fuel line between the tank and fuel pump has pin holes in it. Look at the rubber lines. Look where the rubber line that comes out of the tank and goes into the steel line. The fuel pump has to be able to pull fuel, any small hole in a...
