I joined facebook just to trace my Colt. I found all the owners, and some other information. Not saying you want to do that but it worked for me. Tracked all the way back to mid 1970's when the Colt was built.

I tried this one with my Colt, it checked ok. I knew it would. Then for grins I checked my Lancer that was stolen in 2011. Police report filed. This VIN Check said no records of theft. I would think there should have been something.

I sold my TA years ago and a person contacted me a couple of years ago about the car. He thinks he has the car, but it has been made into a race car. It's nothing like the car I sold years ago.

I hope you get it back. My Lancer was gone almost 6 months when I got it back. Sorry for your loss.
