Clayton Wright is the real deal. Been there and done that. I saw this car race at Suffolk years ago, YEARS. It's a real BO. You can only give something away once. Boy, this is a hot button. He "bought" a transmission from me, took almost 2 years before I said enough. I sold it to the first one with cash. Learned a lesson from that guy.

This is a problem for the hobbyist. We try to order parts ahead of time and when we get around to using it, the part is junk or wrong. So we spend more money. I can understand the vendor, 2 years is a long time. But, never seen that problem? I find that hard to believe. Good luck with fixing it.

Not that it applies to your thread, but I have a VIN for a 67 Barracuda that is a 383-2 Barrel. Not an H, but a G. So who knows what was going on.

67 have chrome interior treatment on the knobs and metal trim. 68 and 69 are different, like a brushed metal.

I was going to chime in on the 67 GTS. They were only 383 cars. So emblem would have been below the GTS at the back of the fenders. Has nothing to do with his 273 emblem question, just for the 67 GTS.
