Yea, I built my first 340 YEARS ago and was priming it with no oil to the rockers. Started turning the crank and it sprayed oil to the ceiling! Sometimes its the simple things that bit you in the rear!

I had a similar problem with a Aftermarket Chrysler Control Module. Grounding the box to the engine block fixed my problem.

Over in Duncanville I have used Dennis Wells Machine Shop. Wells Racing Engines They did my slant six head, big valves and shave.

I think you have your answer on how they CC heads. The head needs to have the correct valves and the valve seats finished. There are formulas for milling heads to reduce CC by a approximate amount. The time to CC each chamber is what eats up the clock. And then after to you have your numbers...

Rusty, why does a cam company give you any advance number anyway? Install 4 deg advanced, for instance. Why don't they just grind that in?

AN-3 is the size. Aircraft Spruce has a good selection of fittings and such. Important to use Teflon lined braded hose, not rubber braded hose.
