I think the width would be correct, the position on the valance might need to roll down on a 67 VS a 65. Here is a 65. BTW, a 67 Notch S with a 273 is one of my dream cars.

Here are some pictures of the rubber insert. I think these are molded, looks like a small wafer and then the rubber part. It snaps on the raised tabs. Hope this helps.
