I wanted to send it to the scrap heap, but John talked me out of it. I think he may be regretting that now. lol

Here's a little update. John is awesome and has made some great progress on my now three buckets of rust. The engine compartment is getting so close to being ready for primer that I can't wait. :) Also, I scored some factory painted duel race mirrors for the car.

Some metal work The inner fender was all rotted out here, so John replaced it with fresh metal. It looks so nice. This corner was all messed up. So again, fresh metal Thats all for now. :)

Here are some pictures taken just a little bit ago of the inner fenders and firewall. Well, this will be the last night that the firewall looks like this. :) John is filling in about everything. :) Here is a shot of the shock tower brace.

Awesome! I can't wait to check it out. That floor pan is going to be a real PITA. I excited to watch the progress too. Has anyone used an 8 3/4 back brace? Are they really worth the effort?

I would love to see the fender tag as well, but when the inner fender was replaced, the tag never made it back on.
