One tenth of an inch??That is less than an eighth. The factory built these cars on assembly lines with tolerances worse than that. You'd never notice it in the real world.

The front wheels were 15 x 6 1/2". Rear were 15 x 8 from Wheel Vintiques. No fender modifications. Stock 11" front discs, stock alignment. 235-60-15 BF Goodrich tires, 255-60-15s on the rear.

These fit and didn't rub. This is a '74 Duster I made to look like a '71 340 model.

Tire plugs are crude but they do work. I've put them in several different tires and have never had a failure.

This is a 235-60-15 on a 6 1/2" rim. It cleared fine. I had .920 torsion bars, a 1.25 sway bar and KYB shocks. (Before I knew how shitty KYBs were compared to Bilsteins!)

The wheel you mention has 3 3/4" backspacing. You will be fine.

No. These are 235-60-15s on 15x6.5" wheels. The Duster has tighter fitment because the wheel opening is not as wide at the bottom as a Dart.

The Dart had 255-60-15 tires on those 8" rims. Yes, it was a tight fit! I was not trying to prove you wrong, I was just stating that with the 6" back space number, it fit on my car without any modifications.

Yeah...I was somehow thinking a 64-66 since they have the smallest wheel openings but a 67-69 can take a 15x10 if you are willing to take the tire a bit beyond!

I think those wheels will fit if the car is lifted up but will probably hit the body when you turn the front wheels.
