Thank you for the input. I will measure the diameter to make sure the mopar valve cover grommet will work, but when I went to the parts store I was checking out all of their grommets and one was CLOSE but not quite there...perhaps the hole was opened up by the PO for some reason.

Okays, Took it apart and the shaft was on correctly. Took both sides apart to compare when checking for the oil spurting out. The problem side doesn't give anything - no gurgling, spurting, flowing at all. The good side shot some oil out and onto the header...hmm Then I tried the coat hangar...
