I don't have a 727, but check out hedman tight tubes. Their issue is just routing from the collector to the exhaust w/o going under your steering linkage. Clear and easy install, though :)

Just want to add in here. I just removed some cheapos due to terrible fitment with my power steering, and replaced them with hedman tight tubes. The hedmans went in amazingly well and clear the power steering without an issue. Another huge plus is that I can retain the factory oil filter...

If it makes you feel better, I would still take a notch over my dart any day ;) If you're not in a rush for headers, keep an eye on the FS section in the future. I just ordered tight tubes for my Dart, but they're only temporary until I finish a big block build. They'll be going up for sale...

I was just comparing the angles to the hedmans and they do look pretty similar. The Challenger I got years ago had summits on them and those things were pretty terrible, too. Guess it's no wonder
