    Shorty headers

Steering box was a tight fit, but it works. It's the steering linkage that poses a problem. Bring pictures to show a good muffler shop and challenge them :P http://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/showthread.php?t=117019 My shots are in the end of the thread. There are better ones in there as...

    hedman "tight tube" hedders?

Ohhh man I feel bad for missing your questions, Ronk. Shoot me a pm if you're still in a bind, even though it's been so long. For an update, even with my TERRIBLE suspension I haven't scraped the exhaust at all and pulling them isn't a big deal, either. I did have to go with a mini starter...

    hedman "tight tube" hedders?

...i'm so slow when it comes to getting pics up.

    hedman "tight tube" hedders?

Well, I got mine all plumbed and they are bitchin. Since it's a 318, I told the muffler guy he can drop to 2.25" for to do the bends, and then open it to 2.5". Thank you guys for the previous pictures, because he told me he couldn't do it...until I showed him pictures. I think it sparked the...

    TTI Dougs with black finish

lol I really think it depends on the type of headers that you go with. We can't compare summit headers to hookers to schumies to TTI...you just cant. My shorties dropped in nicely, but they are shorties and nobody wants to go that route hahaha ...The cheapos though, well, those ARE all the...

Sb headers with console auto and PS?

I don't have a 727, but check out hedman tight tubes. Their issue is just routing from the collector to the exhaust w/o going under your steering linkage. Clear and easy install, though :)

Best 318 headers with no modification?

Just want to add in here. I just removed some cheapos due to terrible fitment with my power steering, and replaced them with hedman tight tubes. The hedmans went in amazingly well and clear the power steering without an issue. Another huge plus is that I can retain the factory oil filter...

    "Tight Tubes" 65 Barracuda 273 ?

If it makes you feel better, I would still take a notch over my dart any day ;) If you're not in a rush for headers, keep an eye on the FS section in the future. I just ordered tight tubes for my Dart, but they're only temporary until I finish a big block build. They'll be going up for sale...

    "Tight Tubes" 65 Barracuda 273 ?

This is just an example of them for an early A, and the auction ended, but I wanted to show you. http://www.ebay.com/itm/300831931553?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 Seller was on here. Have toi modify the tight tubes for the later a-bodies to make it fit. Don't believe...

    hedman "tight tube" hedders?

Bringing this one back because it has some excellent info. Just got me some headers because ANYTHING is better than the crappy ones that are on the car now. Car is only a 318, so wouldn't 2 1/4 piping be adequate? If they have to use the older bender and not mandrel bends I would like to...

    Doug's headers install

Stock manifolds?! I am actually losing my mind right now with these cheapo headers from the PO and need to get rid of them. If you're genuine about getting rid of those manifolds I may have to take you up on the offer for my 318. If you still plan on it, can you please shoot me a pm?

    Let's play Name Those Headers!

Man these headers must all look the same, then, since there are so many options for what they may be. I sure wish there was a stamp on them somewhere.

    Let's play Name Those Headers!

I was just comparing the angles to the hedmans and they do look pretty similar. The Challenger I got years ago had summits on them and those things were pretty terrible, too. Guess it's no wonder

    Let's play Name Those Headers!

These guys are in the 70 Dart i picked up. Car has power steering and these guys sit right next to the steering box. Passenger's side is in the picture below. Ah, and they require a 90 degree oil filter adapter for the 318 in order to even think about fitting (and I say that loosely). The...
