Compatibility between power and manual disc/drum master cylinders

Deng! Fixed calipers here. According to the earlier post, if 15/16" is factory and manual MC's had 1 1/16-1/32" for more pedal effort, can that be simply translated to meaning it will just provide a stiffer pedal?

Compatibility between power and manual disc/drum master cylinders

Thanks for the responses! That told me just what I needed. I will send this one back and tell them Noooo even though the guy told me yes. I'm on a waiting list at the local OReilly but will order one online and see if that helps.

Compatibility between power and manual disc/drum master cylinders

Yea, I am concerned with the structural changes between the two. And sorry I forgot to mention that it's a 70 swinger

Compatibility between power and manual disc/drum master cylinders

Alright, I'm having a hell of a time finding the correct rebuilt MC for my car. It has KH power front discs and rear drums. I can't find the correct MC at local parts stores, and am on my second one from rock auto. The first they sent me was manual drum/drum and the one I just received is...

    summitt rear disk kits

I'm a little confused, though. If they retain the axles, why do they need to be pulled? Or do the axles still need to be changed?

Thanks for the tips! Will be considering those when the time comes :)

    11 3/4" rotors A-Body

Thanks for the input. I am interested in the larger rotors for that specific reason, but am also interested in larger calipers for the purpose of more surface area. More pistons would be nicer for an even dispersion of the pressure on the rotor as well. Are those later calipers about as good...

    11 3/4" rotors A-Body

Might you guys know of any performance differences between the later 70's 11 3/4" brakes v the smaller 10 inchers? I understand the wheels need to be at least 15" to clear those rotors and calipers, but is there a better performing caliper for the larger rotors than, say, the 77 cordoba ones...

    10'' drum to disc brakes

Very cool! Thanks added for the parts list. I saved it and will be bringing it with me to the junk yard :D. I planned on buying new rotors and brake lines, will do the same with calipers if the price is right, but just to confirm (and not thread jack ;)) to go from an SBP to LBP set up I need...
