    Line lock installation

I almost did the same thing. The factory location is a full blown PITA to get to if your engine & Headers are in the car.

    Line lock installation

Line lock is not really even needed...... More of a novelty item! Old school POWER Brake works fine letting off the brake as the tires start to smoke..... Of course this is IF you have enough power to actually get the tires spinning! Lol :D

    Line lock installation

If it holds that is good. There may be something going on with a different factory distribution blocks. I hear you on the fancy foot work. I too have had 4spd cars that did not like to idle. Looked like a paddle boat operator! haaaa

    Line lock installation

I believe it has something to do with the factory Distribution block "Bleeding Back to the Rear line inside the Block" Last car I had this problem with was a 70 Swinger. There are SEVERAL different kinds of Distribution blocks. Maybe it is only on a certain block?? I had the line lock right...

    Line lock installation

I have never had any luck holding a car with a line lock in the front brake lines, even after pumping the brakes 10 times before activating the solenoid.. Car would always creep forward. Mine is not installed reversed & in the rear line after the distribution block and after a wildwood...

No brake fluid to rear wheel cylinders

Ok, Car was sitting..... You most likely have other issues. I would replace it all like you are about to do. Parts are cheap enough and your brakes will work well by doing so.

No brake fluid to rear wheel cylinders

I was under the assumption that there was nothing wrong with your brakes before you changed your master cylinder. IF your brakes worked prior to the Master Cylinder install then replacing the drop hose will do nothing. If that is not the case then YES you have other issues. Maybe you did not...

No brake fluid to rear wheel cylinders

Try using a different method for bleeding the brakes. I like to use one of these here..... It always works and you don't need anyone to help you either. Just make sure the master cylinder never runs too low on fluid. Constantly check it and refill...

Do they make a complete disc break conversion for a 69 Dart

Agreed! You can get better aftermarket brakes for just about the same price as a conversion kit. I did that one time...... Never again.

Looking for a good disc conversion setup

They say you can use the stock one and put a different Prop Valve in the system and use the stock master. I called Cass at Dr. Diff and he recommended the 1 1/32 Bore Master. I have manual 4 Wheel Disc. If you are going to order from him, call and he will guide you through what will work best...

** Where to buy Parking Brake Sleeve & Cables**

I left my factory parking brake cable from the handle to the bracket "We Cut off" for the 4 Link. I did however weld my bracket back on so it still has the factory set up. If you need the cable lengths from the split back I can pull mine out of the box and get you a measurement and pictures if...

Which proportioning valve should I use??

Here are several different set ups to check out. This is Hurst Instructions. All of them show after the use of a Proportion valve. http://static.summitracing.com/global/images/instructions/huu-1745000(2)1.pdf

Which proportioning valve should I use??

The line lock should be after the Proportion Valve. I know this from experience, it will not lock the front brakes and on burn out the car will roll forward. This is the correct way to run your brake lines with a line lock and proportion valve. 1] disconnect both front brake lines from...

Anyone know of good factory replacment cross drilled slotted rotors?

Question, does anyone know if there is a reasonably priced 4 Piston Caliper that will bolt right on? It would only be natural to replace the stockers and put the new Rotors to some good use.

rear disc brake conversions and E brake Early A

Try tsmmfg.com , I just installed their rear brake kit on my 67 Dart with 15" Steelie wheels. The kit comes with rear P brake adapters but I just went ahead and bought new cables from controlcables.com. They did a great Job on the cables and they were reasonable at $80.00 for the pair.
