    Good Cam Choice?

I rebuilt a head for a Mack semi once, it had 20 degree intake seats (Yes, twenty). I had to buy a cutter just for that head. Never used it again. I'd sell it cheap if somebody wants to REALLY step up their low lift flow.....

    Hardened Oil Pump Identification

I bought one that did not have a pin, the gear was just pressed on. I drilled it myself , and put one in, for peace of mind.

    Head Bolts for Aluminum Heads

I have stock head bolts with Pioneer washers on my Procomp (Speedmaster) heads. I used 2 of the long bolts on each head. I actually have more thread into the block than my son did with ARPs on Edelbrock heads.

    SB vs BB who wins?

Against a 400, I'd save the money for the stroker kit and put it towards W heads...

Anyone running old school adjustable Rocker Arms on Eddy 60779 heads?

I have son who has been running them on Edelbrock heads for years. Year round.

My attempt at speedmaster heads and moving the pushrod.

Nice work! A LOT of work! I am close to getting my version of offset rockers Procomps running. A bit of Red for Old Yeller

A bit of Red for Old Yeller

Prelubed the motor and, I snapped a quick pic of the ports and offset rockers before installing the intake.

A bit of Red for Old Yeller

Trying to find a few minutes each day. I got headers on today. I am just gonna use these 1 5/8" headers for now. Eventually I will make adapters for my W2 1 3/4" headers.

A bit of Red for Old Yeller

I am slowly making progress on getting this little truck motor running. This is a 414" sb with a solid roller. The heads are the old Procomps that I plugged the pushrod holes on and am using iron W2 rockers. Compression came out to 11.4:1. Just a mild little small block truck motor.

    Experience with burnishing lifter bores?

I still had to hit the copper tube with a sand roll, but it didn't take much.

    Experience with burnishing lifter bores?

I like to put all little oil on it. Drive it through, and slide hammer back out.

    Experience with burnishing lifter bores?

I put the flat end towards the hammer.

    Experience with burnishing lifter bores?

Just for info purposes, that slide hammer also works with Goodson's dowel pin puller setup. I use the same hammer for both.

How long will this little buz saw engine last.

I bought a W2 intake off of him, nice guy. He is the kind of guy that makes you feel at home as soon as you meet him. We had agreed upon a price, and he knocked it down a bit because I drove a few hours to pick it up. I know he is a member here, I think HemiChuck is his fabo name.

    Pro comp head failure

My oldest son runs a set of edelbrocks that were bought dirt cheap. The reason: An exhaust seat had fallen out. We found 2 ex valves with cracks in them, that is what I think went first in his. We fixed them ourselves and they have been good since. I don't think it's just a procomp thing.

Magnum r/t heads, are the corner bolts on exhaust wet?

My son's set do not go in to water.

David Vizard, Uncle Tony's garage, Unity motorsport. Mission impossible Dodge 302 Head porting

Since this thread is off the rails anyhow... In 1994 I helped a good friend build a low$$ 360, stock stroke, speed pro h405p pistons .060, MP 284/484cam, 850 DP, generic a body headers, 904 with 4000 stall GER(, yeah, a GER) converter. He had a Streetmaster intake and I told him to get a real...

30 ounces =850+ grams. That would be over 100 grams lighter per rod. That is not correct. 10-15 grams per rod is more like it.
