    Voltage Regulator

All 3 of my sons drive older mopars everyday. That is all they have. Our odds of getting bad parts may be greater than most. We've gotten water pumps that leak out of the seal right out of the box, Pitman arm that went bad within a few months ( Yes it had grease in it). On a newer 97 Intrepid I...

    Voltage Regulator

Our last one was from Orieley's, did not work, they replaced it and that one is still working couple months later. But, even though they replaced it, we were still out the time to remove, drive back to town, and the gas we spent. This last failure was on my son's valiant, and is his only...

Yeah, for sure the old ones were pretty reliable, the newer parts store ones are what seem to fail.

    Voltage Regulator

I have had several VRs on different cars go bad in recent years, some bad right out of the box, some lasting only a couple months. I found this, and wondered if anybody here has tried one? Good, Bad, or Ugly? What's your thoughts? Thanks. QS8313F - Heavy Duty Finned Adjustable Regulator for...

    Starter Wire

OK, I guess I found the answer after a long search. Mopar part # 5014098AD There are some on ebay from $30-$35. Rock Auto also has some. Summit lists them, but not in stock. Hope this helps some other members out, although the junk yards are probably the best option if you are cheap like me...

    Starter Wire

Does anyone know of a source for the 1999 and newer mini starter push in connectors? I have a starter that came with a motor my son bought, and it has the push in type of terminal for the small wire. For now, I borrowed the one off my durango that is sitting with a blown head gasket, but will...

    No Brake Lights

Ok, We wiggled the hazard switch in the on and off position. with my jumper wire in place. It is 12 gage wire with 2 spade ends connected to the red and white female ends from the brake switch. The red wire has 12 volts. Looks like we will be changing the turn signal switch. Are there any good...

    No Brake Lights

Ok, I was wrong, the dome light does have power. It just needs a new bulb. The tail/brake light bulbs are good, put new ones in since we had some sitting here.

    No Brake Lights

I did not check the dome light bulb, just noticed it was out. there is 12+ volts to ( tested with voltmeter) to the brake light switch, That is why we tested with a jumper wire.I will check for power at the dome light. Fuse is new, changed it first. Thanks. Will do. Thanks.

    No Brake Lights

My son's 71 valiant lost its brake lights. Fuse is good, power to the switch, I took both wires off the switch an made a jumper wire to test. Still no lights. The turn signals all work, as do the hazards, and tail lights. The dome light does not work. EDIT There is 12 volts to the dome light...
