I was thinking the same thing as diymirage. I installed USCT connectors on the Coronet and Dart and had to drill two oblong holes for the parking brake cable only.

All the parts came in this week to finish the bucket seat swap... USCT connectors, new carpet kit, metal plate for the bucket seat bracket reinforcements. (Rock Auto box is rotors for a brake job on the DD).

Got a bad case of scope creep. All I had to do this weekend was install the Procar seats. The Dart was originally a bench seat so there are no bucket seat reinforcement patches. One thing led to another:

I have the pull handle on the Dart too, but I've never had it apart so I don't know what it looks like. But if your rear brakes and e-brake cable are installed, you can test for recoil.

Possibly the e-brake return spring. My Coronet has the foot operated e-brake and I broke the ratcheting spring during the resto. Found a replacement at a swap meet.

Rebuilt my first alternator (more like refurbished). Took it apart and cleaned up the copper connectors and replaced the brushes. Cost $11, half of that was shipping from Rock Auto. Took it for a spin and it's charging again. Negative batt cable was ratty, made a new 1/0 gauge cable.

Charging system was dis-charging. With Mattax's help diagnosed a bad VR. Dropped in a Mancini Racing VR tonight - good to go.

Speaking of 65 Darts, just saw this on CL. Supposedly numbers matching small block with a 4 spd. Interior is trashed but if it really is rust free this would be a good project car. 1965 Dodge Dart Factory 4 Speed

Replaced the clutch m/c today; still had the original Keisler unit. SST sells a Wilwood branded cylinder. Nice that all the mounting holes and brackets are the same as the Keisler.
