More work getting done

ProgreSS has been a bit slow. Got the fenders off for stripping and sanded down the rust on tge roof. No major surprises. Also was happy to find the VIN stamp still on the trunk rails. Should get more photos this week. Also ordered 80% of all the parts I will need.

Work is slow but steady.. started with the trunk lid the rust was just surface thanks goodness plus the 4 speed arrived today thanks to fellow A Body members.

She does have a lot the fix and repair but its a labor of love

Dana 60s are not actually any more heavy then a 12 bolt or ford 9 inch. Its the big old drum brakes that really add weight. I am getting a new Strange S60 I will weigh it for you guys.

Transmission is complete actually it was built too early but why complain. It is a BB 727 unit full manual valve body and a trans brake for the strip.

few shots of the body it took longer to block and prep. More pictures coming of the engine build and mock up

we decided that white wasn't the color we were after so I went with Ferrari Red. White in the engine bay would have been dirty all the time and white makes the gaps in the panel look worse.

Paint is here the shop will be spraying the body next week here is a preview of the color on my doors and Grille Panel.

Well good thing is we are not painting it white anymore. Here are a few more pictures of the 4 point Moly roll bar. The guys also tied the bar into the subframe connectors

Update on the car we moved the leaf springs inboard like the SS springs were and are doing a 2 inch mini tub for bigger meats out back here are some new pictures.
