Oh and here’s my “beak” nose Duster. Riddler

    73, 74, 75, and 76 dusters and dart sports

Actually most 73-74 Dusters had clear parking lights and in 1975-76 they had amber lights. So those amber parking lenses are correct for 1975. Riddler

Found out something on the mirror cable lengths

Mine is missing the clip. Not like I knew how it went on anyway. I just hold mine and spin the locking nut on. Riddler

    Duster Archeology

I believe so. Driver side trunk inner lip comes to mind. I think only the sequence number not the entire VIN. I believe the same to be true for the rad support. Riddler

    Cast Aluminum Valve Covers Leaking

Using some RTV on the cork gaskets both valve cover side and also head side is the best idea. Take cover off. Clean channel/lip gasket sits on. Put a thin rtv line down and press gasket into it. Then put another thin of RTV on the gasket and put them on head. Bolt it down. Let it sit about...

What late model accessories do you wish your old car had?

My car has pretty much everything on your list. It's taken me 10 years a truck loads of money.... but set a goal and push on. I built the car in an attached 2 car garage. So anyone can do it. Riddler

What late model accessories do you wish your old car had?

Most everything mentioned I've added. I don't want traction control or ABS. I've done the modern AC, stereo, suspension, EFI, modern transmission. Modern seats with sound deadening through out. I didn't do power windows or locks, but maybe one day as they are easy add ons. The problem with...

    Detail Spray

I use a ton of Adam's Polishes products. They are far superior to many of the products I have used in the past and I'm a car show guy. Been to many indoor shows, etc. I like the Waterless Wash, Detailer, Buttery Wax, Interior Detailer and the tire shine. I love when they do mystery bucket...

What Are You Doing To/With Your Car Today?

I'm planning to install new door locks and ignition. Mine were worn out and one door lock didn't match. Riddler

    Insurance

I use ZEHR Insurance up here in Canada. I'm covered for much more than I can get retail for the car. It's under $600cdn a year. Hagerty refused to cover my car due to the value. Riddler

Need advice from Canadians selling parts

I've shipped worldwide, Canada Post seems to be the best. But like dodgedifferent2 I live on a border town. It's a quick jump across the bridge to Detroit and have shipped large items from there. OP: No harm trying to sell locally using Facebook Groups or Kijiji. You'll likely to find a lot...

Another where does this part go

Typically these are body shims, used on fenders and such to shim them out for fitment. However back in the day these were used on the steering column bolts to help move the steering column down. I know a little old lady who had 2-3 of them on each side to move the wheel down so she didn't have...

    Sound deadner

Give it time. Also wait for it to fall off the ceiling and onto the headliner. Hopefully you have a board not just the rods/cloth. I've had the pleasure of helping a friend remove this from a car he did when it hit 100 degree's out and it melted off of everything. Riddler

    Sound deadner

Yes I've used Second Skin for my build. Your better off using Damplifier Pro but see if he has some B stock in. It's the same as the regular but has a few manufacturing or shipping flaws. Nothing to worry about. Products - B STOCK - * MADE IN THE USA * - Damplifier - Second Skin Audio The...

1975 Duster front seat belt bolt locations?

Should be down behind. Belts go down between top and bottom seat cushions and bolt to the floor. Riddler

1975 Duster front seat belt bolt locations?

Bench or buckets? Bench goes down between the top and bottom and bolt to the floor. Roughly same place the bucket belts would go. Riddler

1975 Duster front seat belt bolt locations?

Yes the hole beside the seat does NOT go through to under the car. It goes into the sealed rocker. The rear (shoulder) retractor is the same. Another option is to use a safety pin and probe the floor along the edge to see if you can find. It'll take longer than taking the sill off and...

1975 Duster front seat belt bolt locations?

Ok so one retractor has more belt length than the other. It should also have a shoulder sash. The shoulder sash bolts above where the door glass and quarter glass meet. The longer retractor bolts down in front of the rear seat. The shorter retractor bolts down to the floor beside the rear...

1975 Duster front seat belt bolt locations?

Are you talk front or rear seat belts? The rear belts bolt under the seat bottom. Push it and lift up, then you should see the bolts or at least the holes to bolt them down. The fronts we need to know if you have a single retractor or a double. Riddler

    Good Lord the Scammers

I've been trying to sell my GMC Canyon pickup truck for the last week and I keep getting tons of calls from people who want to sell it for me. WTF? Best one yet has been a lease to own offer from a guy. Asking me to keep my insurance on it as well. Uhh NO! Why do people make it so hard...
