    Ralley dash in a convertible?

I used my spare panels, I had to cut the back out for clearance. I have a very good original set if I decide to return to stock.

    Ralley dash in a convertible?

I just put them in, they sound great! I can open the vents but not very much, just enough. The speaker brackets came from ebay and the speakers are Pioneer 40 watt Rms, 6 1/2 inch. They rock!

    Ralley dash in a convertible?

I hope this helps, it's just to the left of the emergency brake about where the dash frame starts to curve.

    Any pics of aftermarket buckets?

Now I wish I could tell you. Jack had them sitting in his office and offered them to me. I would guess mid to late 80's. They are much better then the old buckets, a major improvement. I liked the sebring seats I saw earlier. Maybe I'll check them out next time I'm at the junkyard.

    Any pics of aftermarket buckets?

Here are a couple of Ford van seats I bought from a friend. They are very comfortable but took a little engineering to get in place. I'm still not happy with the mounts. I got them for 50 bucks. Start looking in junkyards..Auto Reclaimation centers if you're PC!:toothy10:

Why do the steering wheels seem so big on these A-bodies?

I'm using a grant wheel, about 13 1/2 inches. It's a copy of the 'Tuff Wheel" and I have power steering. It feels like I've a faster ratio P/S box. I love it! More steering input for less arm movement. It also stiffened up the feel of the steering.

    Anyone esle try this?

Just a thought, I have a friend that works with leather. He sold me some black stock to re-do an arm rest. If you can get access to some soak it and stretch it over the repaired piece and tie it tight under the dash. work out all the wrinkles, let it dry and it should turn out perfect...well...

    Aftermarket tach for 1967 Barracuda

Here's a pic of the new dash I'm working on. I made a holder out of pvc pipe (3"). I'm making everything white-faced. The tach 3 3/8" tach came from Advance Auto, the cost was 50.00 new.

    Dakota Seats n a Dart

I swapped out seats in my cuda, used 2 inch angle iron...back to back and cut for length. It made a "z". set them in car in correct location, leveled and tacked them. I used old body holes and drilled holes to match the new seats. They ain't going nowhere! measure old seat height first!! then match.
