I used a 340 style on my 5.9 Magnum, ovaled the holes and made sure it cleared the oil pan before installing it. So far so good!

One of the biggest things that I found annoying with the ZJ 5.2, because the starter is on the other side, the oil filter will dump oil all over the starter when you change the oil. Super annoying and probably isn't good for the starter.

It's pretty easy. I have a 96 with a 5.2 also, of course mine is lifted so it makes it easier to get under it.. Biggest difference from a Dodge 5.2 is that the starter is on the passenger side. 2 bolts and 2 wires and it's out.

I had Ulf decode my 65 Dart GT Convertible a while ago. 1 of 5 built with rear retractable seat belts, kinda cool.

I love the 63-66 Valiants. I've had every year except for 65, and I'm partial to 64 with the deep "cove" on the side and the straight across grille.

I personally love 73+ cars, the one that got me into the whole a-body thing was a 74 Dart Custom a buddy had back in High School (the first couple pics). The Dart Sport turned into a 71/75 Dart/demon. The last picture is a 75 Dart I've slowly been working on the last couple months.

Good question on the motor choice, from what I've read originally the movie cars had VW motors in them. Only two survived filming, this is the only one known to still be around.

Has anyone tried a Max-Wedge hood scoop on a 1970-72 Dart or Demon? Im trying to picture what it will look like in my head but a picture would be better.. 8)

Here in Az, well at least in Maricopa county, everything has to go through emissions from 67 up. Its pretty stupid if you ask me. Not many cars running around that old and getting them to pass is a joke because your just going to adjust it back where it was.
