hello everyone my name is Rick B. I am in Dayton Ohio.

Welcome. I love cars with interesting history and original owners and such. That’s a real interesting car you have. I think the Passon five speed is a great idea. You might also consider the overdrive version of an original Mopar 4-speed, it should work good with all of the torque you have...

New guy and his newly found one owner '66

Welcome! You’ve found the right place for info and support. In general most of what’s needed to keep a ‘66 Valiant running is readily available. But the body and exterior trim is a one year only model and if something is needed it may take some time to obtain what you need.

I don't think factory installed air was available in '64. It's probably an add on.

Welcome. Cool car. Get the donor car, with a 318 it should have the lbp disc brakes and wheels and just might as well pop in the 8 1/4" rear axle. You'll probably meet some other moparians selling the rest of the parts.
  15. SSVDP

We have this car in our barn . . .

You need to keep & enjoy this car. I don't think you could sell it for very much money.

    Newbie: 1966 Dodge Dart GT

Great car! Looks like it has factory AC. A disc brake upgrade is a great idea. There are multiple alternatives. First you'll need 14" or larger wheels and should consider bigger as 14" tires choices are few.

Look on ebay. The Barracuda carpet kits might have pieces for the whole truck area included which you don't need.

Great car! Most '66 Valiant Signets, hard tops and convertibles, I've seen had bench seats.
